Chudinov Ready for Buglioni Challenge

This Saturday the venue I continue to call Wembley Arena will host a super-middleweight world title fight.

The WBA ‘regular’ champion, Fedor Chudinov, with a record that reads 13-0 with 10 wins coming by way of knockout, will be taking on the British challenger and #4 WBA contender Frank Buglioni, who has a record that reads 17-1-1 with 13 wins coming by the big knockout.

For Chudinov it will be the first defence of a title he won, by a split decision, against Felix Sturm, in Germany. But Chudinov, as the big fight fast approaches, the champion is confident he’ll be keeping hold of his belt, remarking,

“I’m here in London, I’m settled and I’m ready to fight.

“All my hard training has been done and now I just have to focus on Saturday night and keeping hold of my world title, nothing is more important.

“We’ve seen plenty of Frank Buglioni and I know what I have in front of me, he’s a good strong fighter but he will be found short at world championship level.

“It doesn’t matter where I fight in the world, a ring is a ring to me and I will do the job that I have to do and I will beat Buglioni.”

Buglioni may have his own ideas on the outcome of this one but my view is that the challenger will have to produce the performance of a life-time to wrestle the belt from the champion.
