Could Whyte be Next For Haye?

After his spectacular demolition of Mark De Mori, talk is already emerging with regards to who David Haye should fight next.

Having pulled out of two fights against Tyson Fury, once due to a cut and once due to a bad shoulder injury, Tyson Fury has implied that he'll never agree to fight Haye again.

But, now that Tyson Fury has become probably the biggest heavyweight name out there, circumstances could dictate that the pair could, one day, get in the ring together.

If Haye can accumulate a couple more wins, against ranked opponents, he could become a mandatory challenger to one of the belts Fury holds.

Despite there being some animosity from the Fury camp, it appears that Haye does admire what the self-proclaimed Gypsy King has done, remarking to the media,

'I think Tyson Fury is a good fighter, very good,' said Haye. 'It's a shame he doesn't want to fight me. I think we all know why, when he sees punch power like that.'

Another fight, somewhere down the road is against the unbeaten Watford heavyweight Anthony Joshua with Haye remarking about the possibility,

'I think a fight between me and Anthony Joshua will be way bigger than a fight against Fury.

'I believe that's a fight that could be made later in the year.'


Whether Joshua's team would be willing to risk such a fight remains to be seen.

But a fight that could be made soon is Dillian Whyte, the Brixton heavyweight, who Joshua eat last time out.

Whyte doesn't duck anyone and the decent account he gave of himself before being knocked spark out by Joshua, would make him a viable opponent for Haye.
