Eubank Jnr Makes Ring Return!

On the under-card at the O2 Arena this Saturday, in London, Chris Eubank Jnr makes his first return to the ring since winning the British middleweight title against Nick Blackwell.

The unfortunate events of that night saw Blackwell put in an induced coma after the former champion suffered bleeding on his skull. The injury sustained later saw Blackwell have to retire from boxing.

In recent days Eddie Hearn has been trying to set up a mega-fight for Eubank Jnr against, probably, he best pound-for-pound fighter in the world today Gennady Golovkin.

On Saturday Eubank Jnr comes up against the unbeaten Tom Doran, a fighter who believes e has the ability to beat the champion.

Talking about the fight, Eubank Jnr has vowed not to let what occurred in his last fight affect his performance, remaking to the media,

'I'm not going to let a situation like what happened in my last fight affect my future performances.”

Eubank’s opponent though isn’t too happy with all the talk of the Golovkin fight over-shadowing the build-up to Saturday night with Doran remarking to the media,

'I think all the Golovkin talk is disrespectful but I've pushed it to one side.

'It doesn't get better than this, I can't wait to take the chance with both hands.'

But we’ll leave the final word to Eubank Jnr, a fighter who exudes the same confidence his father had, with the current British middleweight title holder further remarking,

'Every fighter has their goals and dreams. I want to fight the best and beat the best. I'm gunning for the main guy and I have to put on serious performances.'

Doran may be unbeaten in seventeen fights but I doubt he’s met anyone like Eubank Jnr and here at Vital Boxing we expect Eubank Jnr to provide another master-class in relentless pursuit and use his skills to stop Doran around the mid-point of the fight.
