Joshua Ready to Enter His Training Camp

April 29th beckons and Anthony Joshua has the chance to elevate his status in world boxing to another level if he can beat Wladimir Klitschko, at Wembley Stadium.

If Joshua can beat the former world title holder then the really big fights will be the way forward, unification fights against the likes of Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker.

Joshua seems unfazed by all the attention his status as the IBF world heavyweight title brings him, remaining the same likeable person we first come across as he headed towards the super-heavyweight gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

With the fight drawing nearer, Joshua now knows it is time to get down to business, to hone that body, to put the stamina in the tanks and get mentally prepared for what is the hardest fight of his career so far.

Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has given an insight into Joshua’s preparations, remarking to the media,

“I think he’s looking forward to getting back into camp now. He knows it’s a lot of hard work ahead of him.

“Just back in Sheffield now from Monday of this week, training up there a couple of times a day, three times a day, getting physio, the rehabilitation. He takes camp very seriously. He prides himself in working with the very best. He’s lucky to be based in Sheffield with Rob McCracken and he’s got everything he needs up there.”

Joshua is a remarkable young man, his attitude is spot on, nothing seems to faze him and with home advantage he knows Waldimir, having lost to Tyson Fury in his last fight, has everything to prove.
